the journey of changing one's mind, heart, self, or way of life
In every work of genius we recognize our own rejected thoughts.
They come back to us with a certain alienated majesty.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson [writer and philosopher]
Maybe a bit of an old Title, but at my place,
no dust collects on top of J.R.R Tolkien's 'The Hobbit'.
Not only was this among my favorite books ever written,
But recently it was adapted into a three part movie.
Needless to say, they were near the best three films I've ever seen.
But this time watching, I stayed for the credits. Ed Sheeran, Bless his soul,
Had a beautiful song at the end, called 'I See Fire'.
Needless to say, Again, One of my very favorite songs.
Thank You Tolkien.

Love you all!

A deep, endless homesickness,
for a home to which you can't ever return,
Or for a home which never was.
Extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world.

More pretty words every week!
Yeah. It's been awhile since I've gotten to post. Terribly sorry, bit of social drama.
Actually that's why I was making this 1st day of spring post. Last night was tough.
Up til' 1:30 all depressed and texting four different people, and I thought, 'Wow. My life
was going so good'. Then came my metaphorical hard winter. Summer was dead, Fall was
over. Winter. I'd never been so unhappy. Then I woke.
Warm light was peering through the slit in my blackouts.
It was the first day of spring. I was irrationally elated, given the circumstances.
But, I digress. The post is supposed to say something to the effect of,
"Some things can really make you sad, but A LOT OF THINGS can make you really happy"
Thanks for your time ~ Neo
